Stolen from Erskineville NSW on Friday night 24.04.2105.

Details:
$1000 REWARD no questions asked. $5000 if you get the bike back and the hands of the #$%*er that stole it.

Stolen from Devine Street, Erskinville.

Honda CB550 with custom frame loop, lowered forks, billet triple tree (only fit CB550) custom battery box, custom electical harness, 4" head light, mini bates taillight, dyna electric ignition and coils, chrome steel clipons, 4-into-1 pipes, champion deluxe firestones, all custom wiring, CR-29 carbs, starter motor not connected, no front indicators, indicators not connected, no left hand controls, no horn, custom fenders (from originals), custom seat pan (mild steel rusted), closed cell foam seat (no leather), custom number plate bracket (with speed holes).

Rego is OTN-17.

Year of bike is 1976.

This bike is heavily customized and unmissable. If you're looking at buying a CB550 in Australia make sure you check the vehicle's plates.

All  those custom parts may really help locate it.  I have a related story for you...
     A couple years ago I met a younger rider at a local bike night.  He had put together a cb360 with a pretty neat hand made Giulari style seat.  It was very distinctive.  Next time I ran into the young man, he told me it had been stolen.  About 8 months later, I was perusing Craigslist as I often do, and decided to click on this cb360.  I instantly recognized the seat.  I managed to get in touch with the young man via some mutual friends and with the help of the police, he got his bike back and the guys who stole it were charged and convicted.
    So...keep doing as you are, and get the word out wherever you can.
