Gentle Readers,
Have you always wanted to ride the fabulous roads of West Virginia in the Fall with a group of like-minded folks? West Virginia allows you to experience everything from lovely sweepers to blind hairpin corners in just a few miles on well-paved, cambered and maintained roads. There is low traffic volume, bike-friendly law enforcement, and great scenery.
I lead an informal group that has been using Marlinton, WV as our home base since it has easy access to many roads. This year's Ride is September 11th - 14th (Friday - Monday) with everyone arriving on the 11th and leaving on the 14th. We ride rain, shine, light, dark, zombies, and alien invasions. We even have a Yahoo group, WVA Ride (
http://goo.gl/cNWqMj).
We stay at the Jerico B&B and Civil War Cabins (
http://www.jericobb.com/) using the Lewis Cabin (sleeps 6) or the Main House (6 rooms). The price for the Cabin depends on how many occupants stay there (last year it was $95/person with 6 people) whereas the Main House is a fixed price.
If you are interested in joining us this year, please contact me via my gmail account or join our Yahoo group.
Thanks for your interest,
Bruce
