Gentle Readers,
Have you always wanted to ride the fabulous roads of West Virginia in the Fall with a group of like-minded folks? West Virginia allows you to experience everything from lovely sweepers to blind hairpin corners in just a few miles of well-paved and maintained roads. There is low traffic volume, bike-friendly law enforcement, and great scenery.
I lead an informal group that has been using Marlinton, WV as our home base since it has easy access to many roads. It is open to all riders of all bikes. This year's Ride occurs on September 11th - 14th (Friday - Monday) with everyone arriving on the 11th and leaving on the 14th. We ride rain, shine, light, dark, zombies, and alien invasions. We even have a Yahoo group, WVA Ride (
http://goo.gl/cNWqMj).
We stay at the Jerico B&B and Civil War Cabins (
http://www.jericobb.com/) using the Lewis Cabin (sleeps 6) or the Main House (6 rooms). The price for the Cabin depends on how many occupants stay there (last year it was $95/person with 6 people) whereas the Main House is a fixed price.
If you are interested in joining us this year, please contact me via my gmail account or join our Yahoo group.
Thanks for your interest,
Bruce
