Hi All,
Greetings from Flanders,
home of the Big Duck. I'm the proud new owner of a CB750 K4, which I recently traded up to from a 2009 Royal Enfield Bullet 500. My bike's technology advanced 25 years overnight, but the rubber bits all aged 35. Go figure. The Enfield was a great bike, but tended to make your teeth rattle a little above 65 mph...if you could get it going that fast...
I started thinking about buying a CB750 back in the fall. I've been lurking on the forum for a while, and all the great info on here helped convince me I could take on the restoration/maintenance required for an older bike. I actually bought the CB750 a couple of weeks ago, rode it home, and since then have been playing "find the deathtrap" in the garage. New tires, new spokes, replaced missing turn signals, new front brake seal. Rebuilt the petcock, which I only noticed was dripping gas on the engine
after riding it back 80 miles
Otherwise, it's running and shifting well, and is in pretty good shape cosmetically.
