Moderators please read this completely before you go off deleting it…..

This is the second run on typing this as I goofed something when I tried to post the first time. Nothing like having to start all over again.

Moments of clarity:

By the thanks of many members here and overwhelming popular demand I am back, at least for now. If you are a vulture looking to pick meat, or a water head look’in to make insults click the back button on your browser as I have no time for you and I will not respond to you.

This is the last time I will speak on this matter……………..

First, some show pics, some you have seen, some are here for the first time. They will be posted in segments because of the file upload limitations. The first two are the K5 and my ugly mug getting a trophy for her.

I have no problem with any ones builds or half builds (because of money or resources), do what you can with what you have. They are great bikes in every right and that is clear by just looking in the forum gallery. It has become clear that no matter what you build, someone will say some off color thing and say “I would have….?” This is normal; this is what makes builders different from others. Notice I did not say better. They are just different. For reference there is one would be “build off” in my head that would be fun and just don’t care if I lost (Carpy), and another that I will not get into….But I will make sure there is unlimited help and resources ($$$) if it came to be, right now it is sitting in a box in the corner of the shop waiting and lurking like a ghost.

I was watch’in TV last night and was unwinding and this commercial caught my attention (after I deleted my account). When you “make it” “You are a marked man”. When you hit the court every player looking to move up is looking to knock you down so they can steal some limelight. This hit home, I will not attack any member on this board to “steal” lime light. I will earn mine, and then it can not be taken unless I give it away. Think to this as the vultures pick meat form this post.

It has also become clear that some people are just mean. They are mean when they are nice. I guess this can not be helped I guess.

It has also become clear in the last few days that this board has become hostile overall. God bless the moderators putting up with this quagmire. This hostility is not good and kills our sport as a whole. This sours new comers that are not privy to our acquired tastes. And IT MUST STOP if we are to continue having a forum here.

I love it when new comers intro themselves and share their new found enthusiasm with us. I am sure many of them read their first post (big or small) a hundred times before they cringe and click post. I remember this like it was yesterday. This is the reason we are here, or at least I would hope.

I also think that anyone who has had the moderators contact them in the last few days for being an ass they should send $5 to pay for the resources we eat. Notice I said “WE”.

I have no time to fight with anyone. Anubis Cycle LLC is an all consuming monster that eats 20 out of 24 hours a day. I simply do not have the energy for garbage conversation.

I have nothing to prove to anyone for any reason. The bikes we build are pretty good as far as I am concerned. Not the top of the crop, but not half bad. Anyone pushing for proof of something like a quest, is making up for something. Some lacking they feel, real or imagined. (See basket ball analogy), if they continue to pick meat see first four letters of the last word of previous quotes.

Imitation is Suicide

Welcome back, Tom!

PS. Nice bikes. If Sophie ends up looking half as good as that I will be happy.

Well Tom, if you want to read my two cents, you should be more cold hearted. I don't give a damn wether newcomers have pulled your leg or not, but you have already shown everybody you are very easy to hairtrigger. Take it easy man, it's all good when you are yourself and you speak your mind and everything, but there are many ways of saying the same thing. You don't need to be unpolite to be honest, and in my opinion you shoot from the hip most of the times.

Why do you want your post count back? Do you really want to start over or not? Post count means nothing, everybody here has already formed an opinion of everybody else, and the post count means nothing. For me, anubiscycle will always be "the member formerly known as El Cheapo". Believe me, running a business not only takes time, it takes also care for the customers and smiling a lot, even through the phone. People is willing to spend their money in those places where they feel they are esteemed.

I was gonna do "Member formerly known as A$$hole" but I was sure it would have been deleted before I could finish my first post  ;D

Raul, your input always counts. You are a gentlemen among bikers.

I hate that trophy pic because of the chicken trailer  :D The stand for the show was built in house with a two part transmission to drive it. The secondary transmission is an awning transmission from a camper. Turns 1 RPM smooth like glass. Have to make a bigger top for it.

Dunlop's SP rear/ ST front. Those were some scrapers I had just sitting around the shop waiting to be used for something. Like I said work with what you have and make good.

Hey there Tom (that is till your name isn't it or did you change that too? ??? ;D,)

Did you say that you had another bike siting in pieces, in a corner? Kinda curious to
hear about that one. What about the "Cafe Kit" Jobs. are you going to offer those? Take care.

There are only but two other people who know what it is besides the staff. Right now I will keep that one under wraps. But if I do get a build off you all better get you popcorn and something to drink while you watch. I will only leak that it is bigger than 750 and has a turbo.  ;D I know TEASE.

In case I did not say so, Thanks to everyone for welcoming me back.

Would Discovery Channel (or whoever for that matter) please show up and challenge Anubis to a build off...dying to see what kind of hell (that's the good kind of hell by the way...the kind with an abundance of RWHP) he can unleash this time...
