Welcome back, "newbie" :)   I rarely post to the Open forum as I'm usually stumbling about in the Tech forum. I do lurk often in the open forum when I need a break from all the "carb this, leak that, brake/ignition/clutch/headlight/turn signal won't work" drivel.

I haven't chimed in on many of your threads these past years, but I'd like to say now that i've appreciated your opening up your business to us. From the very beginning of trying to figure out your logo, showing us your "new" shop space when you moved in, asking for opinions from members about many aspects of something that is obviously very meaningful to you.

During this time you've had posts that range from sane, curious, funny, angry, and ballistic rage. With the ballistic rage ones garnering the most attention. How do I come about having this opinion? Because no matter what you have always been putting yourself on the page. No beating about the bush, "trying to make friends" or "say the right thing" slimmed down version. Just the straight, uncensored and often "in your face" person I would expect you to be if I walked into your shop someday.

Can't say that I've often agreed with your methods of getting a point across, but I have come to respect you and your presence on this site. Would be a sad day indeed if you were to pull a "Cartman" and say "screw you guys, I'm goin' home". Glad you had some time to think it through and are back. And thanks for posting this thread.

Now, if I may, that picture of you and the "colonel" grinning ear to ear, you with the trophy, the colonel with his bucket o' chicken, had me laughing so hard my eyes were runnin' :D :D :D
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame

Tom, I don't take offence easily. As long as you keep supporting CB's, you're OK in my book.

I'll do my best to keep things clean this time around, also I did not expect a huge homecoming so to speak. Now that most have gotten to say thier peace here, lets get in the Tech forum and contribute some knowledge.  ;D

....and there's the start of a good thread. How do you deal with sneezing inside your helmet?

I think I'll start it right now.

Huh. Went away for a while and find some kind of hub-bub about people not being nice?  El Cheapo had to start over?  Am I in trouble because I don't use emoticons much?
