46 is good out of the 350/4, but the longevity would be an issue for the Classic TT. 151 miles of near wide open throttle racing. The 350 twin has done a 104.1mph average speed lap...And runs reliably at even that pace. However the engine has been retuned so it is making the same bhp 1000rpm lower than it used to. That helps.
The two Davies 500/4 bikes finished 1st & 2nd today in the 500cc race. Dominic won his first Billown race by 0.25s from Alan, who missed a gear coming out, in the lead, of the last corner. It was a brilliant race to watch, with the pair of them tucked in behind one another on each lap. Crafty Old Fox vs. The Exuberance of Youth. I will see if I can find any good photos of them, together. Just shy of lap & race record pace, as it is quite windy here on the IoM today.
