Were there a few styles for the grab rail on the CB550K model? I had an odd luggage rack on mine originally, I removed it because I hated how it looked and it messed up the shock mounts. I am reusing the grab rail that was a part of that luggage rack, but it doesn't fit correctly, there is no mount to the rear fender only to the shock mount. As a result it flops around a bit and pinches the taillight wires against the fender.
Tomorrow I'm going to go visit the junkyard in an effort to find one but their grab rail stock is basically in a heap - no labels no nothing. So I'll need to know what to look for.
I have a few pictures, from what I can see it's a grab rail that wraps around the seat, has a triangle bracket to mount to the fender, and the taillight mounts are about where it begins to wrap around on itself.
I ask about the styles, because I've seen photos of CB550Ks with the taillights mounted to the stop light mount rather than the grab rail.
