- Was the Yoshi Daytona cam done in a low lift version too? Like the Yamiya750  Yoshi hollow Daytona cam2
I could not see those moderate figures at Satanic mechanic or other threads were Daytona cam is discussed or other Yoshi cams in general.

The Daytona cam yamiya750 sell for $$$$ with hollow structure is a low lift cam compared with other Yoshi cams.

IN max lift  8.40mm .330"  dur 240°
EX max lift  7.80mm .307"  dur 234°
- Will it increase power? Or is spec wrong?

IN 23/53    max lift 9.72mm       Almost same open/close data as my Action Fours SS-1  except it has 9.17mm IN/EX lift.
EX 53/23   max lift 8.60mm

Figures are discussed to be close to Kenny Harmon F in the thread above and come close to the Megacycle 125-20

- Will this kind of data give a smoother power curve from low to top? Rather high lift IN, moderate lift EX
I have not tested many cams yet, I noticed 120-25 did not have same sudden action like CX-7. Smoother power increase earlier up to high rpms.

I think about the Honda spare part manual I saw on this forum where CR750 had 33mm in valves (+1mm) but 27mm ex (1mm less). More flow in and lesser out, handling of the dynamic compression like the cams do in timing?

I do not need to pull engine for a cam change so I guess I'll become a cam testing nerd ;) Maybe too late ::)

I was thinking the 33mm intake valves needed room; both in the head-surface and for the overlap off-stroke..........so the exhaust valve gave up the space. The exhaust port is huge in comparison...........Ken at Cycle-X is a firm believer in welding the lower 20+percent of the exhaust port to create a flow-ramp to help draw the exhaust.  Yosh likes to make the motor scream............modest lift takes stress off of the bearings and a lighter mass will spin at higher speeds with less flex...........hmmmmmmmmmm

Probably more flow out as well. They did not shrink the exhaust ports, just the valves. Less obstruction for the exhaust flow.
