Got a 2004 Kawasaki Concours this week... last year of the carb. model, low miles. Got to do a big trip now !
If your sure it's a carb problem; it's ignition,

Welcome to Connie ownership.  Bought a brand new one in '05, been a really good bike.  Actually 2006 was the last year of the carb'd Connies though (Dark blue color with gray bottom)

Did a 630 mile 'break-me-in' trip last weekend to N.GA. mtns....

great bikes, friend put 170k plus miles, then got a good used low mile engine and put it in.

One of the best Kawis ever made.  Back in the day a co-worker rode one of the first models imported in the  Iron Butt that started at Montgomeryville Cycle Center..did the entire trek without any problems whatsoever...Larry

Iron Butt Rally, thats nuts, new a few that did it, Ive done a few 1k, nothing compared to the rally. I like the 50cc, fifty hours coast to coast. Never did it but thought might be fun.

Back then it was 10000 in ten days :o :o.   If I recall of the dozen or so starters most all finished.  Co-workers name was Nick Phillips...Larry
