Do we have any members living in or near Allentown PA?
I am thinking of buying a CB750A in the area.

Cheers,
Brian

G'day Larry,

Thanks for the reply.

I have been chasing a good CB750A for some time now and I have tracked down what seems to be a good example in Allentown.

Unfortunatly the A's where never available down here so I need to source a unit from North America.

I managed to convert myself into a paraplegic back in 2011 and have not been able to ride a road bike since.

I believe I can modify an A to accommodate  my physical shortcomings and get back in the wind as they say. ;)

I was hoping that there would be a forum member close by that maybe able to check the bike out for me. But asking someone to do a two hour round trip is asking a bit too much.

I posted hoping to get lucky and find someone close to the bike that would know what they where looking at.

Organizing the logistics from here is not a problem.

Cheers,
Brian

That's a big call mate and I appreciate it.
I haven't reached out to the bloke yet.

I didn't want to go down that road unless there was a viable chance of having the bike checked out by someone that new what they where looking at.

Thanks for the offer mate it's much appreciated.

I will contact him and get back to you.

Cheers,
Brian

Try contacting Arrow Racing in Windsor Ont, they rave a 500cc streamliner. The owner of the team is quad, I believe, and is always seen at the races with his nice 750A with chair and wheelchair.
I am betting he could be very helpful, when it come to converting an A for your intended use.

BTW their debored CBR at 500cc does 200 plus mph....

A quick update Larry,

The bloke selling the CB750A in Allentown hasn't responded to my emails at this stage.
So it's probably a bust.
If you happen to see one in your area in good condition pm me, it would be much appreciated.
And thank's very much for the offer of assistance.

Cheers,
Brian

I'll keep my eye out Brian.  I missed out on one 3 years ago just a mile or so from my old house so they are out there. Regards...Larry
