I think we covered this one before, while it is "racy"so to speak that really is not a cafe, I mean real cafe racers, like Carpy and well just about any of the members bikes that have been done here.

Maybe this is a case that I am sort of tired of seeing the V-twin. This seems more like a chopfae racer  :-\

yeah, i know, but they describe it as "cafe inspired" on the flyers you see in sunoco.  a buddy of mine and i spent a good 5 minutes staring at the poster, then looking at my bike, trying to find the "cafe inspiration" they speak of......maybe i should rethink these smileys.

I dont see how a television show will get anyone respect. fame maybe, money for sure.  I may just be a wierdo, but I would rather not have the things I love used to make money on television. besides there's enough competition for cb parts as it is... ;)

edit: i dont mean to sound rude at all, but i have been dealing with what TV has been doing to Tattooing....and I dont like it.

I mean, for every 2 new clients i get after they saw Tattooing on TV, there is one kid that decides he wants to be a Tattooer.  Never cared about art, never thought to look into how much work people put into Tattooing, just saw it on TV so it must be cool...and now that these shows have made Tattooing look like a money making business, business men have started trying to open Tattoo shops in malls and run them like a franchise....not to mention all the tweakers in basements and kitchens spreading hepatitis with their "Tat kits" after the shows made Tattooing look "easy and fun".

I serously doubt that the Discovery channel is gonna air a tv show on thirty year old Hondas.Normally the people that fund this kind of show are trying to generate interest in their product, since there arent too many parts producers for these bikes, where would Discovery get their funding? If all 3085 of us called Discovery and said we think you should do a build off show using CB750's they'd say great tell us the name of your parts manufacturer and we'll contact them to see if they wanna sponsor it.Its sad to say but this country is all about money and if their isn't any money to be made, it aint happening!  :-\ but your idea would be cool  8)

Turn off your television. Why is the opinion of a producer of a tv show so important to you?
