Z1 ignition switch & lockset
« on: May 06, 2015, 09:51:03 PM »
Was gonna order a few more parts. Just wanted a little input on the Z1 parts ignition switch & lockset

http://www.z1parts.net/product/honda-cb750-cb500-cb550-ignition-switch-assembly-35010-374-671

These are $69 while the OEM Honda lockset is $95-$125. I have read a lot about cheap switches and was wondering what the quality of these Z1 parts are Vs original OEM?

I have not ordered that switch but have ordered many parts from them for the resto of my Z1.
I have been very satisfied with all their parts.  Only had 1 issue - a leaky petcock, a new one was sent to me no questions asked and didn't even have to return the bad one.  Order away.

Good to know... I myself have DID rims and spokes from them in my shopping cart along with the same ignition switch and new fork tubes.

Does anyone have experience with the quality of their rims/spokes?

I bought an 18" DID rim from them, very good quality.   But bought ss spokes from Buchanan's.

Those are some good people, I have also ordered a bunch of stuff from them and they have been great to deal with in all respects.

My ergo switch sucks. I'm interested in this one too. But sorry for being a dummy, what are half those parts in the picture? Normally you get a switch and keys and that's it.

The question is, are they selling the Emgo switch, or a switch made by Emgo. Or, are Emgo and Z1 buying a switch made by the same Mfg.
