Old pic from UK - Early CB750
« on: May 20, 2010, 04:28:56 PM »

Recently unearthed from a shoebox, scanned: Internet debut.

License plate number ends in an H, so bike was registered between 1st August 1969 and 31st July 1970.

Alas, the bike isn't showing up on our DMV-equivalent database.

Nice photo.
Well, there must have been at least 4 early cb750s in England.

I have the Feb 71 Issue of Motorcycle mechanics, with a proud "Ooooo you are Awful, but I like you" Dick Emery on his first model candy blue/green CB750 ( Note: Finned oil cover, "450" Taillight assembly...as correct for UK), in living colour on the cover.
If I knew how to post it I would????
His number plate is  "BYU762H"

I wonder if its still alive??

Of course there were the 2 English early CB750 test bikes...both "Red"??? going by the B&W photos....."AYO61H" and restoed in the '80s "YLY70H" (finned oil covers, 450 taillight etc)
