Idle adjustment screw on 75-76 750K
« on: May 10, 2015, 08:54:25 PM »
Is the main adjustment on left side,  or did it move to other side when petcock switched sides?

Hi 754,

The idle adjustment screw swapped sides when the petcock was moved from right to left.

Later carb assemblies have a "universal" lifter arm ie the adjustment screw can be on either left or right......I know this because I found out the hard way.

I have a K5 tank (petcock L) and K1 carbs (adjuster L). REAL PAIN IN THE ARSE, THAT IS.
