6sigma jet kit question
« on: May 18, 2015, 07:27:19 PM »
I just received my jet kit in the mail. I was looking over the instructions and the contents of the kit. They are saying to run 125's for main jets on outer cylinders 1&4 and 127.5 for cylinder 2&3. Never heard of running two different size mains. Does any body have input on this? I am very curious and would love to learn why this is? Thanks in advance

..because inner cylinders run hotter(leaner) than outer cylinders, primarily because of decreased cooling.
HONDA didn't feel it necessary, even after $$$ spent on R&D, so why bother?

What brand kit is this?

The CBX ran the inside cylinders a bit richer to reduce heat production. I have never heard of doing this on a 4 either.

Oh...6Sigma....I wondered if you were alluding to some new jetting process improvement.  ::)
Stick with OEM jets.  Money well spent for a properly running bike.

I bought their kit for a 650 and has the same jet setup for the inner cylinders.  That bike pulled like crazy once it got going.

I've heard nothing but good things about them. I will make sure to post a review once I get it going.
