General brass float question
« on: July 01, 2017, 05:09:26 PM »
Have a cb200 that has a small leak in one of the brass floats so it takes in fuel. Only found it after soaking carbs. Its just oneside but once installed that side carb will starve out for fuel after a block or so riding. I can pull over and drop the bowl and let it fill back up and on my way.... So what weirds to me is why would it be fuel starved? Seems like a less boyant float would increase fuel level in that bowl as it would be heavier but perhaps this is some silly thing my minds ete cant see. Help me out here. New brass floats on the way but just trying to understand clearly whats happening here....

  That's a good one, ummmm,
