I've got a couple of little dogs that often get under the covers with me. They nose around until I lift up the blanket and then go find a comfy spot around my legs.

My dog izzy does the take a peice of food carry it away eat it repeat thing for a while. Then she realized when she left her bowl unattended the other dog will eat out of it,so know she stays by it.

Uncle Earnie- What type of dog it that? It looks an awflul lot like my mutt. I'll have to try to dig up a picture.

My APBT has done the same thing. Not often. If I start to make his food, he will leave the room, but turn around, sit, and watch me make it from the next room , then wait to be call to come and get it. WEIRD!!!

My Lab inhales her entire dish of food in about 30 sec.  She's been slowing down a bit in her old age (an ancient 6...), maybe up to 45 sec. now.  She's so excited about eating, it doesn't matter where the dish is.  I could just dump the food all over the floor and she'd be in heaven.  She got into her food bin once and it wasn't pretty, I thought she was going to explode she ate so damn much.  A heavy salivating, gurgling waddling mess.  Spent most of the night outside offloading solid fuel from most every orifice she had.  Just what is it about Labs & a voracious appetite??

Dunno why Labs are such voracious eaters, but I knew a Lab/Golden mix who not only ate fast, but he also carried his plastic food bowl everywhere -- on mile long hikes, greeting people at the door, going to the vet, etc.  We could never figure out if it was his favorite possession, or if he was ever hopeful somebody would put something in it.

Rosie's fun right now- I'm in a wheelchair for some time and she was skittish at first. I showed her she could walk underneath and now she swims around and through it like she was a gold fish.  She seems to be having a good time.

Labs will eat the world if they could get it in their mouth.  No shame.

Why thank you Mr Shave.  Semi-long story. Let me just warn that going slow is no excuse for not concentrating as usual.
