My grease fittings were clogged so I pulled them out and need new ones.  I want to drill and tap new standard sized ones in.

What fitting?

What drill?

What tap?

Much thanks.

You can tap for any size you like, obviously as long as it's a bigger diameter than the hole for original fitting. 1/4"-28 just seems to be a common, readily available size.

I got a 750, but should work well with other years as well.  The 1/4"-28 Zerk is a great size.  It makes such an awesome seal that I have to use needle nose pliers to get the darn thing off.  Well worth the time to do the mod.
