I picked up a set of 34mm CV's from a Aussie model CBX750 today, as a bonus i got the whole bike in parts, except the engine which had self destructed due to cam chain failure,  all for the princely sum of $200 bucks..

Good luck with them, the ones I have are nowhere close to fitting.

A bit of tweaking to get them to fit but I already knew that.... ;)

Has anyone tried juggling the boots, cyl to cyl and end for end? I made a weber intake fit once by swapping the boots around.

For those interested....
I recently purchased a set of Honda cbx750 CV carbs (34mm Keihin) to try for an upcoming project. This morning I thought I'd see how well they do or don't fit..?

Assembly was pretty straight forward, using the head I already have on the bench. New cruzin image rubbers were used with a little wd40, a pair of rachet straps and a small screw driver.

Very little effort was required using the straps to get them to pop straight in, plus little fiddling with the screwdriver.
1-4 lined up perfectly, 2-3 there was a little misalignment - but nothing severe, maybe 2mm each side.

Looks like they are a good CV alternative.

Looks good. What year and model are those from exactly? Also can you measure the spacing of them, like in my "poor" Drawing? Lol
