1980 cb400 in a 1976 cb400f frame?
« on: August 26, 2015, 06:32:41 PM »
i am looking into buying a coworkers 1980 cb400 for about 300
runs and everything but the rear was chopped for a bobber look and some of the tabs were cut off.

i have a few 1976 cb400f frames and i think even a cb350 frame

is it possible to swap the engine over to the 76 400f or the 350?

ideally id like to just throw in the engine and use the 400f or 350 tank and other parts to make it have a more cafe style look.

would it just be easier to try and find another cb400hawk frame?

yes.
