Dual Disc Fitment Question
« on: June 06, 2015, 08:45:22 AM »
Hey All,

I am currently working on a dual disc conversion for a 77' CB550.  I plan on doing without the speedometer.  I fitted the rotors without the speedometer gearbox retainer and gearbox retainer cover using only the gearbox as a spacer in its original position.  Everything seems to line up and rotate appropriately, but I wanted to make sure this would work without any fail.  TIA

I'm in the beginning stages of a dual disc conversion too but I haven't started assembly so I can't help you. But Godffrey sells spacers to use if you remove the speedo. Might be a good idea to get.
