dual disc setup
« on: June 07, 2015, 08:58:22 am »
What are the best calipers to use for a dual disc front end conversion ?  Would two of the smaller 750k calipers perform better than the 750f calipers ? Also what master cylinder to use ? Any help is appreciated! Thank you.

It depends on what front end/fork legs you are using.

You cannot use the larger F2/F3 calipers (that mount aft of the forks) without using those rotors.  They are probably the best 750 calipers.  Similarly, you can swap the entire front end (forks, trees, calipers, rotors) from a 1975-77 GL1000 for the best handling and braking (fork tubes are 37mm versus 35mm) and use larger calipers.
