Cycle X exhaust fitment on a 78cb750
« on: June 06, 2015, 11:08:21 AM »
Bought the sidewinder exhaust from cycle X (there version)
And have read about some poor fitment issues but that's not what this is about yet :-)
As most know the 77-78 engines had exhaust studs . My cycle x kit came with there own collars and a bolt kit. I ☆think☆ I can just use the studs and get some new washers and nuts but was wondering how much a PITA  it'd be to remove the studs. Is it worth it even? I know some people Don like the idea of the steel bolts moving in and out of the aluminum and prefer the studs....aany thoughts or experience with the cycle X installation kits??

IIWM, I'd stick w the studs, especially if this exhaust needs to be removed for oil filter changes....
