77-78 CB750F Block seal question
« on: June 07, 2015, 08:12:18 PM »
I have a cylinder assembly from a 77-78 CB750F which used the "sleeve" O ring seals at the top of the block.

My Question is. Are these seals needed when this block is used with a K head? I don't see a need for them.

I just finished my F2 build and I did use them.

i had a K head on my F2 before and they were on there as well.
I did modify them a bit because they were sitting just a little bit higher then the cylinders.

Also, I'd suggest using K pistons too, otherwise you'll have a lot of compression and the chance of valves touching pistons (don't ask me how I know)

you need to modify underside of the cylinders too (oil return)
