CB400/4F & CB750F1
« on: May 23, 2015, 03:33:00 AM »
Hi to all, not to sure what to list but seeking any help on the CB400/4F & CB750F1, mainly the 750. Just collected the 750 which has been stood outside uncovered most of the time, so it's all there but all the rubber has gone hard due to the suns UV rays so they will need to be replaced when I get started. The tyres are rock hard and flat, so it took 3 of us to push from its resting place (think it was beginning to take root). The calipers on both discs had to be loosened to move it.
It's now safe and dry in the shed waiting for me to finish the 400/4.
I got this bike in 2000 but owing to ill health and unemployment it's finally coming together. I've got the electrics to route properly, then a good clean for a show on 7th.June,2015 at Skipton North Yorkshire UK, if any members are near please say hello to me and introduce yourself, you'll know me as the one from the VJMC and showing a blue CB400/4F.
I've also got a CG125 one of the first ones from Japan, the best ones. Finally two Kawasaki GPX600R. Hoping to meet other club members, when I'll tell you more about my bikes if interested. Also in the Girder Fork Motorbike Club which is held at Steeton Hall, Steeton, West Yorkshire.

Welcome. There's a UK sister site to this forum and most of the Brits loiter there. Suggest you use the same username for ease of keeping up. But by no means, run off and abandon this site! We love pictures and there's heaps of folks here able and willing to help our cousins from o'er the sea  :D

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis
