fuel tank emblems ??

my son and I have started working on the tanks for the bikes. we cut two open today so we can sand blast 'em out
one has old coating in it, sand blasting whips it right out and the other is gonna needs some welding. so my question is can the emblems be removed/saved? what holds 'em in place ???
we got a stuck motor too  I guess we're going to have to tear it down with it being
stuck  any tips ?

The emblems each have two pins on them that extend through brackets welded into the tank sides and then the emblems are secured by small fastener clips. 

For stuck motors, run a search (using the search icon, and not the window on the upper right).  If the engine is only mildly stuck, you can sometimes rock the bike back and forth.  If it is seized, you will likely tear it down.

That's only the ones that don't use screws. Don't pry off the ones that are held by screws!   :o

it's beyond rocking .I pulled the left side cover and tried to turn it with a breaker bar but I'm afraid of breaking the crank bolt. I think I read somewhere that the cam won't come out without splitting the cam chain ??
thanks for the tip on the emblems no screws on these so I just pry them off ?

Pop the locking tabs first if you can get between the tank and the emblem.
