Newbie 550 Owner
« on: October 29, 2006, 05:24:42 PM »
Hello all.  New to motorcycles and a big fan of my 76 CB550.  It is cosmetically in good shape, but needs some mechanical work.  My Winter project is to turn it into a nice little cafe bike.  I'm sure I'll have many questions along the way, but I've been reading this forum for a few months now, and I know there is a wealth of knowledge here.

Thanks in advance!

Love the colour. Is it a stock colour?

Color is stock for 76 Candy Garnet Brown, side covers are off of a 500 (not sure of the year), and their color is a little off.  Not sure yet which way I want to go on paint, but I hope to have it ready by spring and in cafe form.  I'll be sure to post a thread when I get started.
