Really? I thought I was done with this? I wanted to be but sometimes you can't say no.
1969, 3200 miles. I would say 99% stock at first look.

I did a resto a few years back but can't locate the thread. This will not be a resto as it is not mine.
I'm just checking it out and get it running. It was running but quit for some reason. Fuel was running out the bowl drain.
I removed the carburetor this morning and it actually looks pretty good.
A good friend inherited a couple of them and being no shops in the area that would work on it I said I'd take a look. Hoping this doesn't tie up the shop as I have Ducati work to do.
Good karma will come from this however. He is a school principle and has good connections here and in California. Never know when a favor or barn find will arise.

Guys, it's appreciated but all I'll do is get it running. Jon can do the rest. (owner)
I'll look again for my complete thread a few years back on a 1969 model. This shows to be a K1 model but the air cleaner assembly is a K2.
Always fun.

Parts order in, now wait. It is kind of fun.

Carburetor getting rebuilt, few parts arrived, general cleanup.
This is really original.

That is a nice survivor. Most of these had the crap ridden out of them. Because you could!
I'd like to see someone market a reproduction.
The engines are already being reproduced in China....

This one is very original. Only found two screws out of place. Being replaced with OEM.
