I'll add what I have, I'm not a shutterbug, so I didn't take too many pictures really. The museum is attached to their tower next to the Olympic Village and park. I also toured BMW world, which is right next door - but they were under construction and there wasn't much open when I was there. Besides, BMW world is little more than a glorified sales showroom. For that matter, the BMW museum was straddling the line between museum and sale brochure - but what can I expect, it was hosted by BMW and they are trying to sell cars. Actually, there was one car that I absolutely loved - an '88 Z1. The doors were drop down, they didn't swing up, swing out, they dropped into the body of the car to open.
That last pic is of one of their concept bikes. Kind of pedestrian design really, but there are a couple of things I like about it - the seat and the taillight. The seat has a groove in it much like bicycle seats - so you can actually sit on it for extended periods. The taillight is an illuminated plastic strip - I think gives it a cleaner look and makes it more visible. There's no diffusion of the light to lessen the brightness
The museum is the fishbowl structure next to the tower in case you're wondering
