How to get measurements for Rear Shocks
« on: June 19, 2015, 09:52:28 AM »
Morning, so I trying to figure out which rear shocks to get how long?
How do I measure to find out which length I need?
On Amazon they have from 9 to 14.5 inch long
I am building a 79 650 with a 78 GL1000 front end it has stock 19 inch wheel
rear I have a 750 stock wheel 18 inch.
I want to bike to sit level not have it sag in the rear or backwards.
Thank you

I'd go with stock 750 length shocks or slightly longer.  13.25" or the 14".
