400/4 cafe racer
« on: June 13, 2015, 01:39:58 AM »
I have inherited my dad's 1975 400/4 super sport which is complete and running well and generally in good nick except for damage to the tank and seat.
I would like to do a cosmetic cafe racer style makeover by initially fitting a custom tank and seat unit and changing the bars and indicators. Can anyone recommend a supplier of a triton type tank and seat that will fit this bike?

Cheers

Reach out to Kevin at www.ttr400.com

Kevin is a 400 specialist and is in South Africa (I realize you're in Oz) and may either have or be able to point you to your needed supplier.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S.
