I am in downstate NY.
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Ah ok, I was born there and was just there a few weeks ago to visit a family member. I ask because so many people say upstate if it's like 50miles  out from Long Island. Drives me nuts because I grew up in Potsdam and Watertown. St Lawrence is upstate! Lol
What's your plan for your bike?

Im from long island.
Upstate is anything north of Westchester.

Lived in Potsdam while at school (Clarkson) and that isn't up state!
The north country is just a cold miserable place....lol

Westchester...crazy! Lol. Southeastern ny should be its own state haha.
You ever stay in Potsdam over the summer, can't beat it. It reminds me of Vermont, NH and Maine. Just plain beautiful and some great riding areas.
I was just eating at sergis and drinking with the douches at maxfields a few weeks ago.

Lol. Tell them to drive northwest for hours and see what upstate really is. Like you said, that's downstate.

She runs great tho, loud as hell and low to the ground. At first I was going n to do a cafe racer...then wanted something no one else has, so strutted her out and made her into the basket case you see now lol

Don't make a bike into a non functional art project.
Lowering take a lot of performance out of the bike.

I'm down to a clutch issue atm. It won't engague, other than that its been a fun project. I started with a box of parts and a frame frozen in ice lol. Rebuilt her from the ground up (other than the crank case so far) for what I put into and paid for the bike its been well worth it
