Main Jet vs. Throttle Stop Screw?
« on: June 24, 2015, 10:06:36 AM »

If a 750K3-5 is lean at WOT, how can you tell whether it's a too small main or an improperly set (IE backed out too far) throttle stop screw?

I'm not talking about how the early 750Ks, those without accelerator pumps, go lean if you open the throttle too fast. That’s a different issue…

open carbs until they hit the throttle stop.  look inside and see if the slides clear.  if not adjust throttle stop and retest.  otherwise, another issue (like main jet size)
