Hi all ......Petrol is still leaking from the brass overflow pipe in my carb bowl.(Set the float height to 26mm)
The brass overflow pipe was split but I cleaned it up then soldered it back together.
The problem I have now is it still leaks slightly from the base where it is pushed into the
plastic bush.
What I would like to know is does anyone know of a resin or compound that I could use to seal it up ?
I did see on this forum that someone used nail varnish to cure this is that ok to use or will unleaded petrol eat it away?
Any advice would be most welcome.
