Okay so after hours of looking for xray glasses i finally found some and the fuel levels are good but now I'm not getting much spark at all. I'm getting 10.98 volts at the points. Also I replaced the points plate and everything with the ppints gap exactly at .014 and timing set accurately....

The main Fuze blew so I must have a short still searching. Noticed I loose 1v at the yellow/red wire off the starter solenoid is that normal?

Yellow/red I believe is switched and activates the solenoid when the start button is pressed. It should still activate the solenoid but clean the connections anyway. I'm thinking the circuit goes to the right control, through the switch and back, it could easily lose a volt.

Safety switch !    Don't forget it!  It can be bypassed by looping the g/r with green off the top of my head. I'll check

I wired that the old way - short jumper from the battery and the Start button provides ground.

I never liked safety features  ;)

Would that also explain why he last time I pushed he start button it kept turning over even after it was disengaged? I have checked and cleaned connections over and over and everything is in its right place
