Use the Excel file to check. Found it on this forum. Rear wheel (with tire) diameter is an important parameter too.
I have added kmh.
Yep, this chart helped me when I first got my bike.
My 78 F had the 14/43 stock setup, and I did 15/43.

Then I did a 530 conversion last year and did 17/48.

Glad I found this thread. My chain got real loose, I ordered a new one along with new sprockets. Started taking everything apart and realized the sprockets currently on the bike (from the previous owner) are 15/41 and I think the old chain must have been 630 I think? I'm not familiar with the differences between 530 and 630. Anyway, the setup I got is a 17/48 and a 520 chain. The new chain doesn't line up to the current sprockets (which are actually in really good shape), otherwise I'd just keep them on but I'm not sure I can return the stuff I just bought. I should be good with this new setup I got right? Probably sounds like a dumb question but I just want to make sure before I tear open the packaging...

On my F1 I liked the 18/48. I believe the F has a lower 4th and 5th gear trans ratio. now days I have a goldwing for long trips so my 750 K0 might get it's 17/48 back.

17/48 on my K1. Ported head and a pipe, plenty of acceleration for me. I think I'd prefer a bit less highway RPM but I don't do much on the interstates so I don't sweat it.

Good points about the 630 chain. I fragged my engine case with a 530. Just didn't have it with an 836cc kit.

Very interesting. I just put a new rear tire on my skoot and counted the teeth just for fun. Turns out I've got a 38 tooth sprocket in back. Gotta pull the wheel tonight and balance it so I'll count the front sprocket too.
