« on: June 28, 2015, 09:37:19 AM »
Hi anyone point me in the direction of Betor fork spares for my restoration,
Stantions , seals etc.
Also are there common parts with the cb750 originals ?
I'm in the UK so only UK suppliers please

Lots of stuff on ebay, with some coming out of Spain..maybe that helps..
Boots are pricey,  but usually. Needed.
Do your forks have fender mounts? What were they on, and what are you putting them on?

Suppliers of Rickman. Parts,  would be worth checking..

Hi, I Have measured the fork stantions and there 37 and a bit mm diameter and there twin disks
Theres a leak on one thats had silicon swamped in it.
All will be stripped and replaced as long as parts are available somewhere.

Can you add some pictures to the thread? Im not familiar with this particular Betor fork set up. You can see the ones I used in my project in my signature.

When you hit "reply", there is a plus sign below the text box that says "attachments and other options". That will allow you to add pictures one at a time right from your computer.

This is the bike prior to strip down, it's now just nuts, bolts and bits of metal
Shows the forks I have.
Stripped them right down now and they were very crappy, seals all shot and circlips holding them in seized, had to carefully drill them out.
Paper stuffed everywhere and silicon sealer used by the tube full. There going off to be Aqua cleaned tomorrow then I can see the full condition.
What I really need is an exploded view of my type of forks

Any help appreciated

I'll post more pictures now I know how

The forks now being stripped have seals with the sizes on 38x50x7  The 38 must then indicate 38mm station diameter.
if anyone can provide a exploded view of these Betor forks that would help tons
I would like new stantions and all seals.

Thanks MO MO
My 47 Manx was raced on the isle of man in 1948 & 1949 coming 19th and 30th.

There's more but that would really be greedy if I mentioned them !
