Hey Mick,

Just dropped off the girls at their hostel in Hermosa Beach.  They are staying right off the sand at the hub of all of the fun things to do along the beach.

Thanks heaps Don, I just sent you a PM  Did they talk your head off...?   ;D ;)

No, there were really nice kids.  Well, I guess they are 25 (per your earlier post) but they look like they are 18-ish.  Very polite kids.

As in Soccer..?  Dania doesn't play soccer any more but Emma does and is a very good midfielder, she's on a scholarship, Dania's list of sporting achievements is too big to cover, she's one determined young lady... ;)  Thanks again for helping out... ;)

Just hope they had a good time - AND MADE IT TO THE BEACH!  Or better yet, multiple beaches.  CA is great, there's so much to see. In a limited time-frame it's hard to actually enjoy yourself and I LIVE HERE.

So, best to the kids and to you.  They must have been fine - I never heard from them (or they got other local help) - either way, safe travels.

Thanks Guys, the girls arrived home this morning, they had an absolute ball, went to lots of beaches and spent the last 3 days at Hermosa beach, I think they stopped at every beach between SF and LA, checked out Vegas as well. I think they'll be coming back in the near future... Thanks to all those who helped or offered great advice... ;)

Hermosa Beach..grrrreat choice.. Did the make it to FatFace Fenners Falloon, The Poop Deck, or the Flag Inn ?  Did they rent bicycles?
My buddy who I stayed with now has a bar up the hill, away from the beach, forgot the name.

Hi Frank, yes, the hired bikes and went to a couple of the bars, they aren't big drinkers, but they checked them out anyway. Here's a pic looking out the window of their room at Hermosa Beach, there was a band playing on the beach.....

Nice Hostel . . . didn't even know that one was there.  Love Hermosa - it's almost forgotten with Redondo and Manhattan right there.
