Hi All, I have a few older British bikes and now a couple of Honda's.
Having aquired a lovely well built CR750 replica a few years ago I decided to restore or build something similar and recently aquired a genuine Rickman CB750 which it turns out has been pictured on this forum a few years ago.
I got it from a guy who would never have got round to restoring it. So I'll do it.
I'm not new to restoring bikes so I look forward to the experience. It's the engine that I'm green about but that's what Forums are here for and hopefully get some valued imput from some of you.

When I manage to post a picture I'll do so.
Regards Keith

Did you buy UKPete's Rickman (was mine at one stage)?

If so, join us at www.sohc.co.uk
Use the same name so that we recognise you.

O yes I did buy from Pete, he was skinning down his vast unfinished projects and being only 20 minutes from me it seemed worth a look, the rest is history
I thought someone on the forum owned it, I have seen pictures from time to time.
Its a box of bits at the moment but it will return !
Tell me what you know about the bike, good or bad I wont get pee'd off with pete, I know what I bought and I know it will need a lot of loving care.
Regards Keith

Hi, thats it, I got it with the laser exhaust, but that will be going.
As I said it's a box of bits at the moment, I've had the wheels stripped and powder coated, and lovely they look, new bearings and seals.
I have the short seat , long tank set up.
The WW2 style fuel tank has been treated and powder coated and it's all being refitted with cleaned up bits.
I'm retaining as much of the original bike as I can.
The loom has been stripped, tidied and re taped up, looks better
All the calipers have been pro rebuilt, with new seals and Pistons.
A lot bits have gone off to Aqua clean, like the fork legs which were knackered.
I'm having a bit of trouble finding were to get betor fork parts from at the moment, any help would be appreciated.
Spoke to my paint guy last week, he knows it's coming to him and going orange, but that's a while off.
The frame meanwhile is to be stripped and re nickelled in about a month
