Hello everyone, my name is Daniel and I just bought my first motorcycle. The bike is a 1975 cb550 (k, I guess?) that I recently purchased from a friend who respectfully denied the need for an old bike and the "special" maintenence that goes along with it. I am a sheet metal worker by trade, employed by a large mechanical contractor in the peoria area. Hobbies include just about anything with a motor, but specifically old things with motors including primarily antique tractors and neglected chainsaws. I'll appologize to anyone who is a purist, as I know they exist within this forum. I am far from that. My bike has a sort of "I really don't care" vibe going on, and I intend on running with it.
