WOW! Really good looking bike. I cannot understand why someone has bought this bike and then did not use it. 620 miles is nothing!
Tires: Metzeler Perfect ME11 / ME77 are also old looking tires.
I have Metzeler Lasertec, but rear tire will not last for 5000km's. I'll change rear to Dunlop Arrowmax Streetsmart.

About sticking front brake. My CB750 had that too after 23 years of no use. Disambled the caliper, removed the pads, pumped out the piston, sprayed the piston with thin lithium grease, pressed the piston in, pumped out again, sprayed a little bit more around the piston and pumped it in-out a little bit more. Lubricated the caliper bracket axis that is of floating type that must be able to align with the rotor.
New pads that had paint I grinded off so they could be fitted without sthicking inside caliper. I put a dollop of copper grease under each pad. Assemble and tighten the allen heads. The small screw with a spring adjusted according to the manual.
I guess that the master cylinder will leak. Time for upgrade kit and replace the seals. Maybe dried brake lines too?
I hope you can keep this time capsule intact.
-One thing you can do is to take photos of all stickers placed on the bike so other will know exact which sticker is placed where and how. Detailed photos of the entire bike will be good information when they are taken on an untouched bike.

About Continental. I used K112 rear 35 years ago and it was not a tire I can recommend. It lost the grip very sudden with horrible handling problems on the road. I'm happy to live and talk about it. The old Dunlop K81/TT100 is much better when it loose grip in a controlled way. I guess the ME77 is much better too.

Check out the new Conti road attack and race attack, probably the best tires made for our bikes, hugely popular in vintage racing... ;)

Ride it like you own it. Because you do. You get to own a brand new 45 year old bike. It's not a Sandcast or even k0. We have all seen that mileage doesn't effect value as much as one would think. Congratulations and enjoy

I can not knock the Conti 112's at all. Never had a handling issue and get good mileage out of them. I keep detailed records of my 750's and the KO got 7,071 miles off the first set of Conti's. My K1 got 5,208 miles on the Conti's and I changed them out a little early. I do admit I am not an aggressive rider and I doubt you will be with the nice bike either.

About K112, I had the problem during agressive driving in the city, sharp corners. Attack the corner and full throttle, rear end jumped as a rabbit over the road. It has the vintage look though.
I'm not sure, but it might been when I had 6" longer fork and 16" rear wheel that did not improve anything else than the cool factor.

About the newer Conti tires: They might be very good. I doubt rear will last more than 5000kms when it is performance tires. I want tires as the old Metzeler ME99 that had good grip for initiated driving and lived about 8000km's.
Maybe these are OK :) https://www.conti-online.com/www/motorcycle_de_en/themes/motorcycletires/conti_classic_en/classic_attack_en.html
I'll keep an eye on them until I have to order.
The Dunlops look good too.

Great story and find, congrats to you.   Ride 'em!

+1 Ride em, don't hide em!

BTW, you say the caliper is sticking. Check the M/C and see if there is corrosion in it. If it's clean you may be able to just do a thorough bleed of the old fluid, refill with fresh and bleed out. I had a similar situation with Eva when I first got her. Brake dragging and screaming like crazy. Put on new stainless wrapped lines, full flush and no more problem.

Any sticker on chain guard?
Front, around the fork tripple tree?

You're not sure the suspension mods caused bad handling??  I am!  Don't blame the tires.

I don't see any on the chain guard but I did find this one on the frame that I'd missed previously. It's on the frame under the seat in front of the battery.
And then there is the one with the VIN on the triple tree. ?

Great looking original there! Now I regret peeling off the plastic from behind the mirrors ;D I'm running Conti's with Metzeler tubes, rides and handles well for the 60 miles I've had on it so far so can't complain. And they look great, close to original. Thanks for the pix of the stickers, I've got all mine in the right places but still haven't figured out where the one on the steering neck goes :-\ Looks like your's doesn't have it either or you haven't found it yet?

P.S. My build started with the exact same problem, stuck front brake. +1 on Stev-o's suggestion, do not disconnect the lines before pumping out the piston. Use gloves when dealing with brake fluid (or any other).

I think there is originally a sticker under the compliance plate - that may be the one you mean?
p.s. don't worry Ausmith I am not asking you to pull off the plate to see! :)
