CB750 fuel tank badges
« on: July 13, 2015, 10:09:45 AM »
Hi,

I have two different type of tank badges. Both are old and seem to be genuine parts.

But they have different surfaces. The one on top is plain between the letters and has a "rough" surface within the letters, the one on bottom is opposite.

On the one on top  letters are not plain to the edges.

I suppose the one on bottom is correct KO.
Any ideas what the other one belongs to?

Sorry for ma english, I hope you see the point.

Danke schön!

No idea how I came to a K4 badge.  K3, K4, K5 did not come to Europe.

Isn´t it a K1 badge with black painted letters?

I think K2-K6 should look as :

My early build k2 has the rough letter ko badge. I bet Honda had a big bucket full of emblems and what the man pulled out was what a bike got. ;D

I do not think that Honda has done certain things, rather than the Japanese did harahiri
Maybe in time they were replaced., Perhaps to repaint the tank they had been damaged.
