WOW.   Great job gentlemen.  You have inspired me to get off my arse and into my 95 degree shop, which isn't easy to do sometimes.   I'd be proud to own either of those.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

All will be revealed at the end of tomorrow!  ;)

FYI - both candidates are letting people know about the polls and that's a good thing versus not saying a thing!  I also liked the build recaps.  Both of these members have a lot to be proud of - the bikes are very inspiring.   ;D

I will say this, neither bike qualifies for a "runner up" position.

OTP, thank you for sharing your work with us. I'm a big 750 guy and never would have found out about your beautiful 500 had you not accepted the nom. More than that, I never would have found out that there was someone else who loves the old Mustang colors for a bike build! Being nominated alongside a monumental effort like yours, the honor is truly mine. I've said it before, like many others, both bikes are winners.

If you'll accept, I would like to do what one of my childhood heroes, Indian Larry did/would have done with this virtual "trophy". We cut it in half!

Thank you, Rafi! You're too kind. I'd be honored to take half of the virtual "trophy."  And thanks to everyone for the votes and compliments. A few years ago I would have never believed I could ever rebuild a bike, let alone end up a BOTM nominee. I owe a lot of it to the people on this site. Whenever I run into a problem I can almost always find a solution searching through the forums or find a part I need (sometimes free of charge, even.) This is a great community I'm proud to be a part of.

Congrats again to Rafi, seriously, an amazing build! Hopefully both of our bikes can inspire others to build their own.

A very well-deserved congratulations to Rafi aka edwardmorris and Tom aka onetruepunk87 for their OUTSTANDING motorcycle builds.

Rafi set a new standard for a concourse NOS Restomod (since it does have a Mike Rieck head).  OTP deserves respect for his gorgeous and mesmerizing blue 550 restomod -- and most of all in taking on a Goliath of a challenger.  OTP held his own and his bike is a beauty!

This was the highest voter turnout I've seen on BOTM in recent time.  Well done!!!

Both of these are suburb machines.

I did want to comment about the excellent photography on edwardmorris' bike, the bokeh makes them look like photographs of the most detailed miniature CB750 ever.

I really dig the colors on OTP's bike.

Choosing was pretty tough for me.
