"Old"?

Those RS34s are pretty awesome. I was planning to use them on my 750 build until I put my 550/650 build in front of it. They are a little bit of a pain to get onto the rubber manifolds.

Beautifully tasteful, Mirko. Thanks for letting us know it is complete, and congratulations on getting it published on BE. This is such a refined build.

As I recall, you are using a Wiseco 836 kit, vapor-blasted crankcases, lighted crank and flywheel, upgraded charging system, head ported/polished by _______, ________ cam, custom primary and cam chain tensioners, Mikuni RS34 carburetors, Custom 4-1 air filter/box.
Any other engine mods?
Are you using the Anders 32AMP charging system or something else?

Custom fender, headlight assembly, triple trees, clip-ons, fuel tank, seat/oil tank, rearset brackets, exhaust headers/exhaust megaphone tips, swingarm and rebuilt monoshock, forks (GSXR forks detabbed), front hub, adapted KTM rear wheel, front/rear chain sprockets

Are you printing the cam chain tensioners?

This is definitely BOTM material. If Shortround doesn't accept the pending nomination, maybe he and Mirko should go up against one another next month (since we already have 3 bikes up for nominations for February BOTM). Or not. If someone nominates and seconds Mirko this month for February, then so be it!

There is probably an internal wedge and setscrew inside the handlebar.
I really like the levers.

Messner, I'm not sure if you were aware but I think most of your pics can't be seen anymore since Photobucket changed their scheme. I think I would speak for everybody if I asked could you pretty pretty pretty please get them rehosted when you get the chance? I would love to pore over build process.

It is ported by local guy here in Belgrade.. cam is CX-7... I did also up and down cut of gear dogs... tensioners are from PA 4.6 polyamide look in high performance part of forum... one small mode was to combine two sets of clutch fibers to get 8 plates setup with correct height.

I made my own setup for alternator... but it is similar to Anders.... using same components

Thank you very much for bringing that fix to everyones attention CBJoe. It seems a bit clunky but that's probably due to "operator error".

I'd stumbled across this awe inspiring build and was very disappointed with the photobucket debacle not allowing us to see the pics.

Finally, this build is a marvel in planning, engineering and taste. I have learned so much from it.
A very big thanks to MessnerMoto for sharing, as that in itself is a lot of work and very selfless of him.

Because I did a lot of engineering, CNCing, etc... for this project I have a lot of parts that I can now offer to general public.

The first part is replacement set of oil pump rotors for CB750.

When I rebuild my pump for my project I bought 3 used oil pumps from ebay in order to assemble one good. But I haven't succeeded because all rotors in 3 oil pumps were ruined.... I ended engineering and making on CNC set of oil pump rotors for myself.

Material is 4732 steel... Already at 30 RC of hardness. Superior to original sintered rotors(10RC).

And tolerance between rotor tips is going to be around 0.1mm. Better then original OEM pump.

This will get your oil pump to better then OEM new state and for less then what OEM rotors would cost if they were ever available...
