... Actually I never stoped upgrading my bike.... After several thousands of km I had to change some week spots.

Original 3D printed in ABS plastic holders, reinforced with stainless steel plates, for headlight didn't hold well. You can see them in first photo. They are holding to much weight... Headlight assembly weights above what I anticipated... Originally I wanted to 3D print holders in Aluminum but it it is still to expensive.

So next best thing CNC

The cable exits the button on the side, bellow handlebars. So it is not visible

I saw how other companies are using thin wires and root them in handlebars. Thats completely unpractical and wires break..I am using 0.22m2 wires in cable. They are physically strong... similar products use 0.14m2

I even added 3D printed plastic support for cable so it will not break

The cable support is a nice idea, but there are many who wish to route the wires internally to the bars, especially clip-ons.

One reason “others” use a thinner gauge wire is the terminal screw post beneath the button is very, very small. A thicker wire doesn’t really fit. Add to that, the wires leaving the terminal need to avoid racing against the metal bars, causing a short. It’s all very tight tolerances.

yep and there is a lot of people complaining that those thin wires are failing.... And then it is big pain to fix them because they are routed inside. Completely impractical if you want to drive a motorcycle. Wire needs to be mechanically strong to resist fatigue failure.

but the main reason why they are left to be routed inside the switches/clipons, my opinion, is because it is much cheaper for machining of switches and is much cheaper to leave to end user to think how he is going to solve cable exit/routing...

This is more expensive(to produce) solution but much more reliable, practical and visually you don't see the cable because it follows the clip ons from below. My buttons are soldered and isolated. You can see it on my bike how it looks.... You don't see the cable.

but this can be only just mine opinion

Ah yes, I see now. Well that dose make it easier for routing, even thought I can see the appeal of having them internal, this method can be more forgiving with locating & making changes.

The switches look amazing, but I’m a little confused by their function? Would I have to have an M-unit to make use of them. For example if I replaced my right hand switch, could it function as the start switch? And if I did, what would I use the other 2 switches for? Sorry if this is a dumb question

the best is to use M-unit, but you can also use small relays. You can configure it as you wish... Usually people do it like this

top right - start
middle right - some digital functionality
lower right - turn light

top left - lights, low/high
middle left - siren
lower left - turn left

but like I said you can do it in many other configurations
