I really like the the rawness of this lamp.
                     How it reminds me of the impact automobiles had on the world and American dream,
                               It's present condition, these blended artifacts  leave little room to argue the fact that nothing lasts forever,
                                           It cries out to me, it screams to the older generation :
                                               " You can still be a useful part of society...Give us your worn, Give us your broken,   
                                                            Gift us with your experience, Inform us with your wisdom, Give us direction,
                                                                       Go sit over in the corner with that flashlight old man, so we can see what we're doing"

                  That's what it says to me........ Aw , just wrap it up real pretty like, She'll love it!
                                     What do I know anyways, I use a 57 Chevy hood as Bar on my back patio.
