Tenneco announces the closure of the Marzocchi motor bike fork suspension business and its mountain bike business, and liquidate its Marzocchi operations. :-(

The disclaimer at the end was almost as long as the press release itself. So while this is a "forward-looking statement" it may happen, or maybe not. This is why I quit working for big corporations.

Bottom line is it is sad news that the business is at risk. Perhaps there is opportunity for an MBO ?

I've been more of a FOX fan recently but I hate to see good companies go under in this modern day and age. My first dual supension MTB had Marzocchi forks, way better than anything Rockshox ever put out at the time. Bummer to see them go.

I remember when I was riding MTB a lot, I had the biggest lust for high-end Marzocchi forks. Amazing stuff. Sad to see them go.

Worse yet is the fact Gas Gas (The bike those "Motorbike Suspensions" go on) is liquidating. Especially for those of us that own and ride one.
