  • honda cb 250RS 1981 CAFE & honda cb 500 four 1978.
so my engine is apart and i wana know is my dogs or forks worn out, but i cannot upload photos from my gearbox because of my phone
but how i can know is my dogs worn? and if someone have picture of worn dogs, i would be very grateful. and my gearshift forks got some marks on the sides (like gears have hitted on it LIKE IN THE PICTURE) so it still good or should i chance it? but still the forks are on the specs.

if there only are Wear at one side of the forks..they are  bend.. if the Wear is more thel a light marking..thange them to a better set.adjusting shimsing to get less Loose gear helps..and kontroll the gear drum..and Lock for gear shifts..for Wear..but dont put stronger springs inn.(..it make shifts harder)

.the dogs/taps must not have roundet ends..vho can press the grip clows from hitother..raund or sqvare taps is same matter..must be Sharp egedet..they can be grindet to grab better ca2% angel..to hold together the gear..but it make thanging a bit harder..its the preis for the stronger grip..
