What got me was the next vid that cued up afterwards.  It showed dozens of trucks, hitting the same 2 or 3 railroad bridges. Some were RVs, scraping off A/C units off the roof, with a couple totally unaware they hit anything. Hilarious.

Yeah, the ones that do the wheelie are great.

I saw that one.... at the 29 second mark, it looks like the same guy that hit the bank roof drove into the bridge and cleaned everything off the roof of his trailer.....and these people reproduce and vote? :o

Would it kill the city to put a dip in the road under that bridge? :o

Not to get political, but do you really think Congress will pass the current transportation bill, needed for stuff like that?

But truthfully, each and everyone of those impacts doesn't cost the state of federal government a penny. Those bridges are made to take most of that punishment. And ant damage is covered by insurance. You didn't notice any affect on the traffic on top of the bridge.

We had a Canadian trucker that didn't convert metric to standard properly and took out a bridge on I-5 last year. Completely demolished and fell into the Skagit River. It was all caught on video as well. Quite the spectacle.

Made me glad I live down south and didn't have to deal with that.

We had a garbage hauler hit the I-90 overpass in Issaquah, punching a huge hole in the beam - still there too.

Looking at the cab on that truck, that would have been one monumental face plant.... :o

I didn't even notice that.

He must have hit that bridge hard, stopped dead, and flung the cab forward.  I don't actually know how he managed that, the limit on that road is 35, and likely he was doing less than that given the amount of traffic that road sees.
